Dear Adrasan enthusiasts,

As we finally surface from our last dive of the year on the 12th of November (The Bat Cave), we look back on an eventful and happy 2011 season. Our boat ‘Fisheye’ is currently standing in front of the dive centre, and so we find ourselves busy making the dive centre ‘winter-proof’ with maintenance and the like. As from mid December Holger will be back to Egypt in Magic Life Club Kalawy. You can expect the usual service from the Adrasan Dive Team from mid-April 2012. We wish all friends, guests and dive enthusiasts a brief winter break.

Mediha and Holger

Again, we have many loggerhead turtles in Adrasan this year. I’ve got a feeling that more and more are appearing each year. The best chances to see these animals are when snorkelling, in the morning before breakfast or after 6:00 p.m. In one afternoon, more than 10 of these animals have already been sighted. It’s a great experience to watch these animals so close to the beach.

Our first dive was on 21 April. We have already seen the first seahorse and our “resident” seal – Aysa – has been spotted. The dive centre has undergone some renovations and improvements and there is now even more storage space for your dive equipment.

The Atici 2 hotel has also been busy and has created more terraces in front of the hotel and has renovated some of the rooms. On our “Accommodation” webpage you will now also find the Sazlik China House hotel, which is close to the dive centre.

Following the great success of our Egyptian dive safari in the winter we are planning another trip for December this year. More information is available here

It was a great tour from 03.03.-10.03.2011 with the Heaven fleet. Everything was perfect. The boat was great, the crew were fantastic, the food was very tasty and we had 19 wonderful dives. We took many photographs. Click here to view the photos. It was such a great trip that we plan to organise another dive safari for the beginning of December 2011. This winter I set out to work again in Egypt, however due to the revolution, I returned early to Adrasan. It was not dangerous on the Red Sea coast but the hotel had no guests due to cancellations by the travel companies. Now the situation has calmed down and Mediha and I will fly on 3^rd March for our Egyptian dive safari and we are looking forward to it. Once we are back, we will post our report on the tour.

Holger from your Diving Center Adrasan

Dear guests, diving friends and website visitors,

As you will know from the media, communication with and inside Egypt is disrupted. Holger is currently in Safaga and is currently cut off from communicating with the outside world.  He is safe and has personally been largely unaffected by the troubles. I therefore ask for your patience if your emails are not answered promptly. As soon as the riots and troubles have settled down and the mobile / internet connections are restored, all questions will be answered. In urgent cases, Holger is available on his Egyptian mobile number: +20 177712174.

Up to date information about our liveaboard dive safari will follow as well.

Because of the disruptions, we have decided to extend the spring offer until 28 February!  Anyone who has not finalised their 2011 travel plans should not waste the time
